Sharpened Word

Sharpened Word (SW), under the auspices of Perak Society of Performing Arts (PSPA), is an interactive and educative platform that brings together aspiring talents, creative artists and the community. Creative artists and talents from a diversity of genres get to showcase their works to the public using English as a medium.

Through the talk sessions, SW participants get to meet and network with these invited artists and talents, and also have the opportunity to engage in Q&A sessions and panel discussions. Besides organising talk sessions, SW also conducts one-to-one sessions with selected speakers for in-depth discussions of their areas of interest and expertise, and more importantly, to enlighten the public on how creativity plays a significant part in their work.

SW has been active since October 2015 and has made great efforts to encourage diversity in all sessions by way of our panel speaker selection. This not only gives participants a wider perspective of issues but also demonstrates the immense talents that our country possesses.
