Sharpened Word - November 2022
Well, folks, it has indeed been a while since Covid that the SW team has managed to organise any talk session. A lot of things have indeed changed and the team members have their own priorities hence it takes a while for us to revive our regular activities.
Nevertheless, we are now proud to announce our upcoming November event back in 22 Hale Street where we are able to gather two local-borne award-winning writers to spend a wonderful afternoon with us.
SW team would like to welcome Preeta Samarasan and Maureen Tai back to Ipoh and share their insights on their creative process. This is a rare opportunity for both overseas-based distinguished authors to be talking for the first time in their hometown.
The moderators for the session will be Aida Nazeri and Dr. Paul GnanaSelvam, who do not need an elaborate introduction to the local literary scene. Aida is our star host in SW sessions while Dr. Paul is already an established writer himself and has been a regular speaker in SW sessions all these years.
Besides the lucky draw, there will be additional surprises during the session. So, come over and find out for yourself what the team has planned.
