All About The Venue - WESLEY METHODIST CHURCH IPOH (121, Jalan Lahat, 30200 Ipoh)

Wesley Methodist Church Ipoh, often known as Ipoh Wesley was born in 1894. This makes the church 124 years old this year and is the second oldest Methodist church in Malaysia. The sanctuary as it stands now was rebuilt after a fire due to an electrical problem, gutted the old sanctuary almost completely down to ashes leaving only some structures in 1992. The restoration work began after the fire and the new sanctuary which stands now was completed in 1994.

Ipoh Wesley had played host in the past to many musical presentations as a church event for the community. Korean Missionary Singers from 2006-2011, Texas South Western Baptist Theological Seminary Chamber Chorale from USA in May 2012, “Witness” musical, a cast of 44 from Singapore and “Night of Arts” by local singers including some members.

This year the church is pleased to collaborate with PSPA this Christmas 2018 to bring Christmas cheer to the community through “The Chimes of Love Vol : 2”. The true meaning of Christmas is about God’s Love and the title of the presentation clearly represents the truth.

Sunday Services are at 8:45am, Wesley Methodist Church, 121, Jalan Lahat and 11am at our preaching point, Jubilee Methodist Centre, Jelapang.

Church School for children ( 4 - 12 yrs old) is on Sunday 11am and Wesley Kindergarten is from Monday - Friday, 8am.

Youth meeting is on Saturday 5 - 7pm at Methodist Youth Centre.
