Australian Boys Choir & Sam Tet Voices Concert - Music Brings Us Together

The Internationally renowned Australian Boys Choir is touring Malaysia in 2013, taking performances from its annual concert series to several Malaysian cities and regional centres. In order to provide cross-cultural experiences for both Malaysian and Australian children, several joint workshops and concerts will be held with local schools and choirs throughout the tour, further strengthening the mutual understanding and cooperation between our two countries.

The Choir conducted a highly successful tour of Singapore and Malaysia in June 2010, performing to sold-out audiences. The itinerary in 2013 will include visits to Penang , Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur ad Kota Kinabalu with performance opportunities and workshops at concerts , schools and shopping centres.

Funds raised on this tour by way of sponsorships, donations and ticket sales for performances will go to Rumah Juara- Rumah Kanak Kanak (Home for Underprivileged Children) as well as the Choir itself to cover the local costs of coach hire, accommodation and concert marketing in Malaysia. The Australian Boys Choir is a not-for-profit organisation.

The Choir will be performing at 7.30 pm on Wednesday 3 July 2013 , at the Bro John Moh Hall, SMJK Sam Tet, Ipoh.
