PSPA Presents - A Message from Lee Kett Chuan


Hailed by the Boston Arts Review "elegant and breathtaking" playing, Kett Chuan is a full-scholarship alumni of The Boston Conservatory and Longy School of Music where he studied with Rhonda Rider, Mihail Jojatu, and the late Bernard Greenhouse.


He was selected by legendary conductor Lorin Maazel to participate the Castleton Music Festival last year. Lee played the principal chair in music festivals such as the Napa Festival Del Sole, National Orchestral Institute and Asian Youth Orchestra. As an active performer, he performs regularly with Boston String Quartet, Symphony Nova, Atlantic Symphony; engages in musical productions with Lyric Stage Company, The Company Theatre, Trinity Repertory Theater; appeared as a soloist with Waltham Philharmonic and played recitals in Japan, Korea and Malaysia.


In addition to performing, Kett serves as an adjunct faculty at Dean College, and has recently been invited to adjudicate competition in Duxbury Music Festival and Malaysian Youth Orchestra Festival (MYOF).
